Alice - the Cat Lady, CFRI

A Clinical Animal Behaviourist, specialised in cats, Alice spends 90% of her waking hours with a wide variety of cats (and sometimes their human companions...)

Alice has a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Animal Behaviour. In order to make sure she is up-to-date in Feline Science, she makes sure to participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) every year. She participated in Animal CSI Workshop in 2009 and has been a regular attendant to animal conferences internationally every year. Not only she cares about animal welfare in Ireland, but she is involved with the animal industry internationally by being a volunteer of International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultant.

She moved from Hong Kong to Paris, then to Dublin with her current cat of 13 years. Larmlarm and Alice have travelled 10627.48km together. Fafa the cat joined the family on 2009, the day before her wedding. 

She is a member of Pet Sitters International, she is also a Certified Canine First Responder Instructor.

When she is not sitting cats, she is writing about cats. She is a professional member of Cat Writers Association. You might want to check out her research on military cats here. On business side of things, Alice has a FETAC Level 5 - Start Your Own Business. This is to ensure she runs her business with the best legal and financial practice.

In her past life, Alice worked as Executive Officer for the Hong Kong Government, Logistic Manager for a trading company in Paris and as a Personal Assistant for a bank in Dublin. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Hong Kong, specialised in French Language, Culture & Civilisation. Her graduation research titled "Globalisation and its Effects On French Culture".

Alice speaks English, French, Cantonese and Mandarin, she also has Level 1 on Irish Sign Language. She can serve you in all of these languages.
